The pricing for EventCORE is determined by how much you do yourself and how much you use Tier 3 support. The following provide the basics.


Support Resources: There are three tier levels of support. The first level is what is provided by the site administrator and typically deals with event questions. Tier 2 are basic "how-to" questions that a person needs some help in understanding how to do. These are handled by a self-help forum-exchange. Tier 3 is purchased support in which you get professional support from the development team.  There are three options for paid support that are all explained here  .


Credit Card Processing: If you use your own merchant account all fees are paid directly by you. If you choose to use our credit card as a convenience (no set up fee, no monthly charge, instantly available) you will be charged 4% of your total charges and refunds.


Upgrades to the Script: After the completion of the initial upgrade to Platform 2.0, additional scripting will be done on an "as-funded" basis.  Items in the "Phase 2" section of this Knowledge Center Answer   will be completed only if funding becomes available. If you have an interest in funding a particular upgrade, you will be provided with an estimate of the cost.


Server Rental: We have upgraded our server and are simply passing on the cost of this upgrade and  ongoing-maintenance as a nominal fee based on conference size. The server rental is explained in this answer.

History of Pricing:


EventCORE was developed by the Global Operations Office of Cru as a tool for their team to be able to manage the various events and conferences in which they were providing administrative support. From 2004 to 2013, this office paid for the ongoing development, hosting and support of the Website, including the upgrade to Platform 2.0.


It should be noted that the following changes were made to our pricing model in August 1, 2013.


No Per-Attendee Usage Fee: There is no per attendee usage fee for a client to use the software.  It is available to all who simply agree to our standard usage agreement and are willing and able to use the Knowledge Center as a self-help guide to get started.


No Admin Service Fee: We have also eliminated the previous flat service fee that we accessed based on the number of admins you had.  If you do everything yourself with no Tier 3 support, the only charge will be the server rental fee..
